Position Summary
Terabase is looking for an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator is a key player on the manufacturing team, reporting to the Site Operations Manager and will work closely with our R&D team to manufacture advanced assembly/construction fabrication equipment that will radically change how large-scale solar utility power plants are constructed.

Work Locations
The Logistics Coordinator will be working at our Woodland, CA manufacturing facility. Occasional travel will be required to visit vendors and solar sites across the US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will help to build and manage the logistics system for Terabase’s manufacturing facility including shipping, receiving, and electronic tracking via our ERP.

Organize and manage inventory of assembly and construction equipment.

Prepare and manage kitting packages used by the manufacturing team

Prepare orders for shipment per pick ticket using appropriate tools and ensuring accuracy of the shipment and associated shipping documents.

Help reduce freight costs by obtaining the lowest freight quotes

Operate and inspect material handling equipment

Review inbound shipments and verify items and quantities before taking delivery, signing Bill of Lading and receiving documentation. Make notation of discrepancies and alert Purchasing agent.

Stock and restock items in their proper locations in the warehouses and verify inventory counts and physical inventory

Load and unload trucks

Identify and label boxes, packages, and products as instructed by the picking information, your manager or lead person.

Complete all paperwork accurately as instructed by your manager and lead-person.

Available to work overtime for emergency or critical shipments

Fill out and turn into supervisor all paperwork and documents pertaining to shipping and receiving.

Other duties as required, helping with production and general facilities support etc.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associates degree preferred.

2+ years' experience working with an inventory management system, preferably NetSuite.

2+ years' experience in Warehouse and Logistics Operations and/or Accounts Receivable.

Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management).

Forklift Certification. (Must be able to pass operating and written test. Training will be provided by the company)
Preferred Qualifications
-
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of standard manufacturing concepts and processes.

Experience with standard fabrication equipment and its operation.
-
Hands on experience with setting up logistics systems for manufacturing facilities.

Experience building and managing shipping and receiving teams.
-
Experience establishing inventory control processes for large manufacturing facility with complex products including mechanical, electrical and control systems.

Experience with kitting in a manufacturing environment/organization.
-
Ability to pre-plan, organize, prioritize, and multitask.
-
Detailed oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, to handle objects

The use of common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools

Be able to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds often.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment
